Galaxy S5 Mini rumoured for mid-July release
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini could be released as soon as mid-July, putting it in direct competition with the HTC One Mini 2.
The information comes from an anonymous source, featured on SamMobile, but it certainly seems like a viable choice, as its most direct rival is currently on its own in the market.
The release would presumably be worldwide, but there is no word yet on price.
The Galaxy S5 Mini is sure to be a success, with leaks suggesting it will boast a 4.5-inch 720p screen, as well as a 1.4GHz quad-core processor, 8MP main camera and Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
There are further rumblings from the dark corners of the internet that suggest it will feature the fingerprint scanner, water and dust resistance and heart rate monitor sported by the original S5, but of course there is nothing official yet.
